Child protection Out of home care: Child protection data

Definition

A1.1:The file contains child protection reports received 1987/88 to 2019/20. Each row represents a child protection report with an identifier indicating the child who was the subject of the report. If the report was about multiple children, a row for each child is provided with the report information duplicated for each child. Similarly, if the child has been the subject of multiple reports, he/she will appear multiple times in the file. The data is from the annual statistical extracts taken at 31 August each year.
