Comments

A client is a primary recipient of service, and a support person is an individual who is attending the session in order to provide some form of support to the client or clients, but is not receiving that service themselves. Who the primary client is considered to be for a given service is determined on a program activity by program activity basis. For example, in the case of a program activity such as Family Law Services, primary clients are defined as children and young people aged 0 to 18 years. Parents or guardians who may also be present are considered to be support persons, as they are not the target client cohort of the activity.
