To qualify for social housing, clients must:
- Verify their identity.
- Reside in New South Wales (NSW).
- Be a citizen or hold permanent residency in Australia.
- Have a household income within the specified limits.
- Not possess assets or property that could reasonably address their housing needs.
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain a successful tenancy, either independently or with appropriate support.
- Repay any outstanding debts to a social housing provider if applicable.
- Generally, be at least 18 years old.
