Short-term or emergency accommodation - accommodation that is generally provided for up to three months.

Medium term/ transitional accommodation - accommodation that is generally provided for three months or longer and for a fixed term. Support provided is generally less intensive than that provided in short-term or emergency accommodation. This accommodation is not expected to be ongoing.

Long term accommodation - accommodation that is generally provided for three months or longer and with the expectation that it will be ongoing. It includes accommodation provided under programs such as Common Ground.

Other supported accommodation - Accommodation that has not been demarcated as being either short-term or emergency, or medium or long-term accommodation.
