Definition
PACS is the online funding, contracting and monitoring system DCJ uses to ensure that service providers deliver quality services and achieve the outcomes agreed in contracts and agreements. It supports the management of funded contracts and DCJ’s relationship with service providers, outlined in the Funded Contract Management Framework.
PACS enables timely and accurate payments to service providers so they can meet their contracted objectives.
The PACS system provides assurances that all DCJ funding is used and accounted for in accordance with the contract between DCJ and the provider, by way of inbuilt monitoring, certification and accountability processes. It supports our expectations of service providers described in the Charter for working with contracted service providers- external.
