Definition
Family and Community Services (FACS) leave paid leave available to NSW public sector employees for various family-related reasons.
It's granted for unplanned or emergency situations like caring for a sick relative, responding to a death in the family, or attending a relative's medical appointment. Additionally, it can be used for childcare emergencies, cultural obligations, or extreme weather events that impact work or property.
