Definition
DCJ conducts a client service visits:
- within 8 weeks of the start of any new tenancy including:
- new tenants entering properties owned or managed by the DCJ Housing
- tenants who have started their tenancy due to a successful application for recognition as a tenant
- existing tenants who have started a tenancy in a new property following transfer, mutual exchange or relocation for management purposes
- as required to keep up to date with tenancy management needs, including fire safety awareness
- where a tenancy is identified as being at risk
- when a tenant over 60, or 45 if Aboriginal, has had no contact within the previous 12 months.
