Definition

A label (description) that describes a grouping of care arrangements covering periods of time.  This grouping identifies a child or young person's care status.  A person can have multiple different care categories between 0-28 years of age, and can also have multiple occurrences of the same care category in this period.  However, only one care category is valid at a point in time.
