Comments
As of the implementation of ChildStory in 2017, a child/young person may have zero or one case open at any one point in time (excepting data quality issues). Children/young people may have multiple cases open over time. Usually, the case commences when the Department receives a report and a decision is made to allocate the matter for a field assessment. The case ends when the child/young person requires no further assistance or when the matter is closed due to resource contention.
